Ventria Expands Lactoferrin Production

Junction City, KS (PRWEB) October 17, 2008 -- Ventria Bioscience announced it has successfully increased production of lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a protein that is found naturally in breastmilk and has been credited with improved health benefits for breastfed children. It is used worldwide in infant formula and other functional foods. Ventria produces its lactoferrin by extracting the protein from rice produced by Kansas farmers.
